Early October marked ITA’s second annual professor’s retreat. This is becoming a must on our ministry calendar. As our training grows in Italy, strategic time is required for the men involved on the teaching side of things to plan more effectively for the training. The retreat thereby consists of the team of profs getting away for a few intensive days to discuss and work through philosophical and pedagogical issues.
The Lord has brought together in Italy such a gifted team of pastor-trainers. I personally continue to be amazed by the depth and conviction of the men surrounding me in the work of ITA. Lucio, Massimo, Matt, Raffaele, and Gianluca are an answer to many prayers and many years of prayer for the Lord to strengthen the ministry of ITA in Italy. On top of this, our close friendship, like-mindedness, and love for one another simply keeps on growing. Of course, getting away in Italy… is also not bad at all.
